Installation of the DASAT Content Management System

DASAT Content Management System - it doesn't get any simpler (Version 3.0)

Remarkable about DASAT-CMS, besides it's broad functionality, is the simple installation.

Per server the system needs to be installed only once. That means the code is in one area, which is simply integrated in client installations.

The client installation only contain relevant data (database access, media, etc.)

The advantage is that only the code of the main application needs to be updated.

DASAT-CMS was programmed intelligently so that it can be installed on a standard webserver without having to compile modules in PHP or the Apache webserver.

DASAT offers an online install routine for resellers who control their servers through Confixx. - Of course the system may also be installed on servers not being controlled via Confixx.

Client installation on a Confixx server: approx. 2 minutes
Client installation on a server without Confixx: approx. 5 minutes

Installation of main application approx. 30-60 minutes

Installation for servers being controlled via Confixx

After installation of the main application the Confixx reseller has an installation routine for the client available. Via the IP address of the server /dasat the installation can be started.

Step 1:
Listing all clients belonging to the reseller

Step 2:
After choosing the client, for whom to install the CMS, specific tasks are named(FTP, MySQL)

Step 3:
Finishing installation. All client relevant data are installed on the client's webspace and installed into the database of the CMS - done.

DASAT-CMS is programmed completely in PHP and requires

MySQL from 3.2x
Webserver Apache 1.3x with PHP support
PHP from version 4.x
Linux / Unix
convert (optional, but recommended)
Ioncube Decoder
Internet connection (when using it in intranet please contact usnehmen)
Confixx (optional)

The source code of CMS is delivered encoded, because the system has been copied many times. Installation is bound to an IP address. Should the IP address of the server change, please contact us, to get a new decoder key.
