Through the new service "FEED2MAIL" (feeds delivered as mail), the web agency DASAT Ltd. www.dasat.com which is based in Munich offers a new service so far unique on the internet. Feed2mail (www.feed2mail.org) allows RSS providers the possibility to make mailing lists available out of their feeds.
One of the most important tasks of a company is to inform its clients and visitors about news. Spreading this important information on the internet is still very complicated and presents many difficulties. "This is exactly where Feed2mail takes up," according to Ulrich Eckardt, CEO of DASAT.Ltd.
"With Feed2mail the transmission of news is child’s play because the news are automaticaly generated and transmitted to the recipient. On these established RSS feeds the news will be read and processed from XML files and will be transmitted to the subscribers. Then the subscribers can read the newest information on their e-mail browser at their leisure. The most important thing with this is that users don’t have to install software (for example RSS-Reader) on their computer.
The owner of the website doesn’t have to make any configuration to their CMS or to their portal software, because it is sufficient to place some HTML codes on the website (see www.feed2mail.org) in order for readers to register themselves - the rest is done by Feed2Mail. The basis service of Feed2Mail is a free of charge.
